The focus of the BiG lab is on the development and application of Bioinformatics and Genomics to vision research. We are affiliated with multiple entities across campus engaged in vision research and bioinformatics, including the Stephen A. Wynn Institute for Vision Research, the Carver Family Center for Macular Degeneration, the Iowa Glaucoma Center, the William J. Kimberling Usher Laboratory, the Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.
We are all very excited and relieved that our friend and colleague Ben Faga is recovering so well that his doctors have decided he's ready to start working part-time. Thank you to everyone that has reached out to help support Ben and his family!
